i presumed mostly kuchingites who dun speak mandarin, but speak english
can understand hokkien eh? haha
wad do u think is actually seh bak jiam!?
a lot ppl claim tat its because
u peek on ppl bathing or wad other naughty stuff
so wad do u think?

什么是毛囊？
每一条毛都是从一个毛囊里生出来的
眼睫毛也是一样，当它发炎时，
就会红肿，痛，多数还会出浓，俗称生眼针!
一些人也会感觉全身不舒服，发烧等等
为什么会发炎？
有可能是因为个人卫生的问题，
糖尿病或者患有其他影响抵抗力的病
至于为什么会说和偷看人家冲凉有关
我就不怎么清楚了

眼针需要医生的治疗
如果有浓，就要把浓弄出来
但是请不要自己弄，找专业人士帮你弄

ya, a lot ppl claim tat its bcz d person peek on ppl bathing. until now i stil don know d main/real answer 4 tat..
i wanna ask u, if u "seh bak jiam", u stil wanna go out??
if me i wil hide at home, cz feel shy shy ma. another reason is "if" i 'seh bak jiam', may b i juz can open half of my eye, cant c clearly ma, so better don go out lo. hehe..

i guess it's because when we peep someone bathing, all the dirty water got splash into the eyes... that's when the virus got to stay there n "se bak jiam"...

可能是眼皮熱到. 記得我們華小那些支持共產主義的老師 (十哩中公,想當年,犯錯的學生在朝會的時候,會被校長在脖子挂一個大牌子 "我,陳XX 被罰;因為上課偷看龍虎門",像完毛主席的 style)會叫生 Bak Jiam,(我們山上客話叫博目財)的學生戴黑眼鏡.老師講假是看到博目財的紅眼睛,也會种到.

我是听说在和发炎的眼睛相反的中指绑上黑白两色线就会好了.至于红线和黑白线的差别就不懂咯!

哦, 這樣哈.有點像黑人的倒生毛 ( ingrown hair)一樣.黑人的男子通長都不用剃刀刮鬍子的, 刮了會生東西....他們大多只用脫毛cream...niah.
People try to massage/touch their eyes when they r tired of looking somethings or when their view is not clear. Peeping toms r like that lo.. hence more prone to infection ..haha. I think i heard fr someone about this theory.
